He went on to direct several successful films, including “Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai,” “Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain,” and “Tere Naam,” among others. He also wrote screenplays for several films, including “Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai” and “Tere Naam.”
